Jamaican soul from singer Pat Kelly – bringing a epth of stateside falsetto soul influences –- as filtered through the incredible Kingston sound of the time! There's some interpretations of Curtis Mayfield, James Carr and another couple of recognizable cover versions – some in a bit of rocksteady style, all of it nicely done – with Pat's voice carrying all of the material masterfully.
