Magicians
CD (Item 568437) Crossover, 1986 — Condition: New Copy
A mid 80s album from Flora and Airto – a record that has the pair working in a relatively smooth style, typical of some of Concord's productions of the time – a touch on the California side at times, but managing to come up with some nice Brazilian grooves at others! The whole thing's a sweet extension of the sound the pair was going for on some of their late 70s albums – wonderfully soulful, but with a soaring Brazilian fusion approach that's mighty nice – beautifully sparkling, and with a groove that's similar to some of Tania Maria's best from the same time. Titles include "Sweet Baby Blues", "Garimpo", "Esquinas", "Bird Of Paradise", "The Magicians", "Jennifer", "Jump", "Two Minutes Of Peace", and "Love Reborn". © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | |||||
