The record was produced by Mtume and Reggie Lucas, and a lot of it has a sweet mellow vibe that reminds us of Leon Ware or Leroy Hutson. The title cut "One Way Love Affair" is a killer, and the record includes other nice ones like "Sit Up", "Love Can't Wait", "Midnight Love Dance", and "Make Up Your Mind".
