CD (Item 589552) Toho/Tokyo Shock, 1968 — Condition: New Copy

Classic late 60s Toho monster movie mayhem – the fun and fantastically well orchestrated soundtrack to Destroy All Monsters – the one with Godzilla, Mothra, King Ghidorah, Rodan and others stomping around and into each other! Akira Ifukube was the go to composer for this and other great ones in the series for good reason – boisterous, ominous, good natured and a good time without ever getting too serious, yet still demonstrating genuine tension and menace – not an easy task when your soundtracking dudes running around in rubber suits! Titles include "Moon Base I", "Kilaak Aliens I", "Unknown Metal", "Ruins", "Gigantic Monsters Attack Tokyo", "Rodan's Pursuit", "Godzilla, Anguirus Vs Defense Corps", "Monsters On The Earth Gather" and more.  © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc.
