A perfect period Morricone score – beautiful, oddly lovely and lilting work for the bloddy giallo Il Diavolo Nel Cervello! The music was written by Morricone, conducted by Bruno Nicolai, and has some of the best sort of moody moments to illustrate the Italian scoring genius at work. The tracks are a mix of slow moody melodies, dark rhythmic passages, and incredible little numbers that seem to float away on the breeze. Haunting stuff if you love Morricone – and titles include "Vita Sospesa", "Viaggio Quarto", "Il Diavolo Nel Cervello", "Viaggio Primo" and more.
