Mysterious Intrigue
LP (Item 590194) Mathematics, 2011 — Condition: New Copy
Spare, subtle rhythms, topped with plenty of keyboards – a wonderfully stripped-down record, of the sort we haven't heard in years! There's a bit of vocals on the set, but the main focus is on the beats and keyboards – used in these really warm, bass-toned ways that fit perfectly into a legacy that might include Naked Music or The Rurals, but with a quality that's even leaner overall! The album managed to step back to the roots of house, while also having a distinctly 21st Century feel – as you'll hear on cuts that include "Stupid Lover", "Here Comes The Sunshine", "Voyager", "Metropolis", "I Can't Stop", "Awakening Silesia", "Magical Trumpeter", and "Do Not Be Afraid". © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | |||||
