Dramatic action from Francesco De Masi – scored with plenty of exotic touches as well! The style here is a mix of spy/crime with touches of the peplum genre too – some of the cooler, leaner modes of the former – mixed with the sensitive, sensual sounds of the latter – more than enough to fit the far-flung mood of the film's locale! The balance is what makes the score so nice – a bit lighter than some of the heavier Italian offerings from few years before – yet quite different than some of the simpler spy soundtracks that were coming on the market at the time. The package features 16 tracks in all – newly remastered, in a sweet-looking package!  © 1996-2014, Dusty Groove, Inc.
