A quartet of mixes of this club soul and gospel crossover classic – featuring a stellar Larry Levan mix plus remixes by Patchworks, Panoptikum Arkestra and Walter Mecca! The original is such unique, unimpeachable gem, the remixes are wise to be respectful of it's style. It kicks off with the much loved Larry Levan mix. The Patchworks remix follows, one that tightens it up just a bit, with a nicely bass-heavy groove under the vocals. The percussion gets some nice focus to start the Panoptikum Arkestra remix, before the choir comes soaring along along with some bubbling bass prominent in the mix. The Walter Mecca mix has a fuzzy, funky vibe.  © 1996-2014, Dusty Groove, Inc.
