Early work from Prince – really his first full fledged masterpiece! Prince ushered the 80s in with a mix of recognizable influences, but filtered through his unique sensibility – taking taught a funk sound, layered vocals, crisp rhythms, ultra catchy songs and that unbridled, unambiguous, fearless sexuality! Amazing stuff, and an early hint that Prince had a look, sound, style and talent that could, and eventually would pretty much takeover a heck of a lot of cultural space. Titles include the unstoppable classics "Dirty Mind" and "When You Were Mine", plus "Head", "Sister", "Do It All Night", and "Party Up". (Includes the printed inner sleeve. Cover has some light wear.)  © 1996-2014, Dusty Groove, Inc.
