Dirty Mind
LP (Item 42346) Warner, 1980 — Condition: Used
Early work from Prince – really his first full fledged masterpiece! Prince ushered the 80s in with a mix of recognizable influences, but filtered through his unique sensibility – taking taught a funk sound, layered vocals, crisp rhythms, ultra catchy songs and that unbridled, unambiguous, fearless sexuality! Amazing stuff, and an early hint that Prince had a look, sound, style and talent that could, and eventually would pretty much takeover a heck of a lot of cultural space. Titles include the unstoppable classics "Dirty Mind" and "When You Were Mine", plus "Head", "Sister", "Do It All Night", and "Party Up".
