Insanely wonderful electronics from the German post-punk underground! Der Plan were a crazy little group that played analogue electronics with a nutty edge and a great sense of humor. Their music is extremely difficult to describe – but it sort of fits in a trajectory that includes Mort Garson, Brian Eno, and Bruce Haack, but which also includes some other elements of the cold post-punk (and in that case, post-prog) German scene of inventive young bands of the early 80s (most of whom are sadly overlooked these days).
