Ladies Choice
CD (Item 590379) Henry Stone, 2011 — Condition: New Copy
Latimore, still going strong – and sounding surprisingly great on this recent album from the Miami scene! The man's lost none of his vocal power at all – still singing with that incredibly deep, sexy style first forged on the Glades label during the 70s – and the setting here is virtually the same Miami mode as from years back, with assistance from George Perry in the studio, who helps keep things nice and smooth – and goes for much more of a soul sound than the blues of some of Latimore's 80s or 90s recordings. Titles include "A Woman's Love", "Made In America", "All Said & Done", "Dance With Me", "Big Ol Pretty Girl", and "Cat Got My Tongue". © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | |||||
