The package is a wonderful introduction to Italian jazz in the postwar years – and is filled with gems from the 60s and 70s that show that Italy not only had a killer hardbop scene, but also a hotbed of modern jazz activity too – all presented here in a wonderful double-length collection compiled by Gerardo Frisina!
