Qu'a – Live At The Irridium Vol 1
CD (Item 606539) Cadence, 1998 — Condition: New Copy
A great quartet date from Cecil Taylor – one that begins with a slightly more subtle approach than some of his other performances from the time – then builds strongly into the energy we've come to expect in his music! The set features one long improvisation, running over an hour in length – with bassist Dominic Duval and drummer Jackson Krall, plus some soprano sax lines from Harri Sjostrom – who comes in to underscore some bolder elements in the music. Taylor's at the head of the proceedings – as always – but still has that burning fire that never fails to move us! © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | |||||
