Rare Afro Peruvian Lando, Festejo and other wonderful, rhythmic and percussion music from Black Peru – on an excellent vinyl only compilation – collected and assembled by fine folks at Secret Stash Records during and after their journey of discovery in Lima! The music is largely percussion driven, with African rhythms and Latin melodies – but the vocals are not to be overlooked or glossed over, as they add a real depth of emotion.
