The first album that Man From UNCLE David McCallum cut for Capitol – a batch of instrumental tunes that was really masterminded by arranger HB Barnum and producer David Axelrod! The record features short groovy versions of mid 60s pop tunes, plus a few instrumentals by McCallum, Barnum, and Axelrod – all done in a way that's half jaunty, and half tinged with the darkness of Axelrod's later work for Capitol. Titles include "The Sugar Cane", "Insomina", "The Far Side Of The Moon", "Louise", "Downtown", "Turn Turn Turn", and "123". (Cover has some aging on the back and a small rip in the opening.)  © 1996-2014, Dusty Groove, Inc.

Dyno Voice, 1967. Near Mint- Gatefold
Groovy, BABY! Bob Crewe's swingin' follow-up to his Music to Watch Girls By, given a slightly Brit easy twist with cuts like "Birds of Britain", and "Chelsea Girls". Very groovy, with a swingin London sound. As the lyrics to "Birds" go, "Chasin after chicks is ... LP, Vinyl record album

Liberty, Late 50s. Near Mint-
An undisputed classic in the exotica genre – and the record that yielded Martin Denny his biggest hit! The title track "Quiet Village" was originally written by Les Baxter, but it was Martin Denny's approach that really managed to send the tune over the top – using spare ... LP, Vinyl record album

Africana!
Strand, Late 50s. Very Good+
Traditional African sounding stuff, but we're not sure if it's legit, or played by some West Coast studio musicians. The cover's got a nice cartoony look to it, with a fearful female face peering over a jungle landscape. LP, Vinyl record album
