Live At The Public Theater
LP (Item 54247) Columbia, 1980 — Condition: Used
A great little live set – recorded during the height of the group's popularity, kind of a mix of the modal spiritualism of their Strata East years, with some of the smoother electric playing of Columbia Records' jazz stable at the time. Stanley Cowell is on keyboards and kalimba, Alex Acuna plays percussion, and Mtume sings guest vocals on the track "For The Public". Titles include "A Sassy Samba", "Warm Valley", "Cloak & Dagger", and "Watergate Blues". © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | |||||
