While he's much better known for his lovers rock and the huge chart hits he scored with it, back in 1977 Gregory Isaacs cut this roots side, at Channel One under Ossie Hibbert – and it's solid stuff! The rhythms are provided by the crack teams of the Revolutionaries and the Soul Syndicate, providing a nice driving backdrop for Isaacs' Kingston ghetto soul. Includes the entire original LP including "Slave Master" & "Story Book Children", plus the extended mix of "Mr. Brown", and the singles sides "Conversation" & "Mr. Know It All".
