A wonderful tribute to the Impulse Records label – one that's put together with as much graphic sensitivity as you'll find on the company's album covers of the 60s! The book is incredibly well researched – both from archival material and over 50 interviews with artists and producers associated with the label – and these writings are interspersed with a wealth of great images, including album covers, session photos, and vintage advertisements! There's also a full discography in the back, and a very helpful index – and at 338 pages, the book is a wealth of information. Hardcover, and a bargain at this price!  © 1996-2014, Dusty Groove, Inc.
