Scandal In A Brixton Market
LP (Item 497192) Pama/Get Back (Italy), 1969 -- Condition: New Copy
Another lost, but great chapter in the career of Laurel Aitken, originally issued on the Pama label, but brought back to light by the excellent Pressure Drop imprint. Aitken teams up with female foil Girlie on most of the original LP's tracks, and gets a helping hand from trombone great Rico Rodriguez on a couple too! The set's all bouncing rocksteady and early reggae, choice cuts from top to bottom. 12 tracks on the LP: Includes "Scandal In A Brixton Market", "Stupid Married Man", "Tammering", "Have Mercy", "Night Cricket", "Teddy Bear", "Mr Soul", "Babylon", and "Stop The War In Vietnam". © 1996-2009, Dusty Groove America, Inc. | ||||||
