Promise Her Anything
LP (Item 55665) Kapp, Mid 60s — Condition: Used
An incredible soundtrack – as groovy as groovy can be! This one's probably best known for the title track – one of Tom Jones' greatest songs ever – but the whole thing's pretty darn fab, thanks to some impeccable arrangements from Johnny Keating! Keating's working at his 60s best here – putting in enough space between the jazzy notes to really swing things up – and take this one past standard soundtrack cliches, into territory that makes it really stand out. The whole thing's great, and titles include "Promise Her Anything", "Champagne & Chili Beans", "Michelle's Theme", "The Cherry Picker", "The Bird Watcher", and "Toy Bear Blues". (Cover has some wear, aging, and an ink stamp on the back.) © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | |||||
