A great die-cut picture disc version of the Helix EP by Tewz – one of the coolest looking pieces of vinyl we've seen around here in quite a while – with spacey instrumental hip hop soundscapes that live up to the stellar visual stimuli! Helix is a fuller representation of the style that was so impressive on the earlier single. Raw beats, heavy drums and thick bits of synth are fairly prominent throughout – giving it a focused, hypnotic mood – with plenty of ambient atmospherics floating in and out. It's a die-cut, clear vinyl picture disc – with roughly the same amount of a playing surface as a 10-inch EP – and it plays on both sides.
