Ein Halber Hund Kann Nicht Pinkeln (180 gram vinyl)
LP (Item 593320) FMP/Cien Fuegos (Austria), 1977 — Condition: New Copy
Amazing duets between reedman Peter Brotzmann and percussionist Han Bennink – a really genre-stretching set that has both players taking on a wide variety of instruments over the course of the record! Things are relatively free, and surprisingly powerful too – often quite ballsy, despite the spare setting – with less of the more contemplative tones that you might have heard on other FMP sessions of this nature. Brotzmann handles soprano, alto, and tenor sax – plus b-flat clarinet, bass clarinet, and piano – and Bennink not only drums, but plays viola, banjo, piano, and some bass clarinet himself! The set's divided up into "Music In The Evening" and "Music In The Afternoon" sections – but has a very unified feel throughout. © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | |||||
