A fantastic lost psych album – with a moody spacey sound augmented by lots of organ, harpsichord, and electric piano! The best cuts are short and echoey – with kind of a trippy pop feel that sounds like post-Brit invasion lyricism, mixed with LA stoner freedom, and a good dash of Love-esque soul. Titles include Tim Hardin's great "You Upset the Grace of Living", "Hang Onto A Dream", and "Never Too Far" – plus a very cool version of "Nature Boy", and the tracks "Tiffany Rings", "I Watch The Moon", and "Me About You".  © 1996-2014, Dusty Groove, Inc.

Way more than just the standard psych album of the time – and instead a richly-orchestrated album with sounds as complicated as the MC Escher cover image! Liberty, Late 60s. New Copy (reissue)
Heavy rock from a group who definitely live up to their name! Incredible stuff – and one of Tim Buckley's greatest albums! The record's got a style that's a wonderful mix of folk and jazz – using acoustic guitar on most tracks, but also throwing in some vibes by a young David Friedman, which gives the record some warm chromatic hues. Raw, rumbling outsider psych from Stephen David Heitkotter – a wild and raucous stream of rambling genius from the early 70s! Strawberry Rain, 1975. New Copy (reissue)
Really spare, laidback sounds from Simon Jones – material used in a mid 70s Australian film, but a record that's more than strong enough to stand on its own!
