A classic late Ayler recording – a record that's probably better known to people as one of the "Nuits De La Fondation Maeght" concerts issued under one title or another. The set's a stellar live performance, and one of his few hard jazz recordings from this time. Ayler's on tenor and soprano, and he's playing with Call Cobbs on piano and Mary Maria on soprano sax. Tracks include "Spirits", "In Heart Only", "Holy Family", and "Spirits Rejoice". (Nice Japanese 70s pressing – on RCA!)  © 1996-2014, Dusty Groove, Inc.
