Quincy just never stopped putting out classic soulful albums! This one, from the early 80s, features a smooth jazzy blend of tracks, with a strong nod to the kinds of souped-up studio sounds that were being used by groups like The Crusaders, but also with a lot of the kind of soulfulness that made earlier albums so great. Features vocals by Patti Austin, and includes winners like "Ai No Corrida", "The Dude", "Betcha Wouldn't Hurt Me", "Velas", and "One Hundred Ways". (Includes the lyric sleeve. Cover has some wear, with some paper stuck on the back along part of the opening.)  © 1996-2014, Dusty Groove, Inc.

Sublime work from Frankie Beverly and Maze – smooth, mellow, and perfectly put together, with a level of care and class that you'd be hard pressed to find in many of the group's contemporaries! The album's not one of the group's most famous, but that makes it even more of a treat, as you'll ... LP, Vinyl record album
