Rock The World (with bonus tracks)
CD (Item 606103) RCA/Cherry Pop (UK), 1988 — Condition: New Copy
5 Star definitely rock the world with this late 80s classic – an upbeat batch of super-catchy tunes that has the group working at their best crossover mode! There's plenty of bassy bits to bump up the bottom of the groove nicely – perfect for the peppy vocals that percolate through most of the numbers – a mix of lead and group singing that almost seems to have learned some key lessons from The Jacksons! Leon Sylvers produced, and wrote a good number of tunes on the record – and Jerry Knight contributes some great work to the record too. Titles include "Another Weekend", "Rock My World", "Godsend", "Free Time", "Physical Attraction", "Someone's In Love", and "There's A Brand New World". CD features lots of bonus tracks – including "Another Weekend (Saturday night mix)", "Rock My World (extra terrestrial dub)", "There's A Brand New World (12" version)", "Let Me Be Yours (rmx)", "Someone's In Love (David Morales US 7" radio)", "With Every Heartbeat (7" mix)", and "Something About My Baby". © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | |||||
