A gem of a sound library record from the great Janko Nilovic! The album features Nilovic penning some great jazzy arrangements for "wordless vocals" – sung by either a man or a woman, in a very groovy style! The tracks run from pepped-up ditties that have a "Mah Na Na" feel, to others that are in a breezy/easy mellow kind of mode, touched with a bit of the Italian bossa, and slight touches of funk. Some of these cuts have shown up on other Nilovic compilations over the years – but the set's a great one to hear together, as the mix of voices and styles is really great!  © 1996-2014, Dusty Groove, Inc.

The Remixes are great – tunes that show a loving, understanding appreciation of Nilovic's original music – thanks to a well-selected batch of talents on the set! Most of the numbers hardly veer much from the great grooves that Janko first penned – as they're all awash in the best ... CD

Dare Dare (France), Early 70s. New Copy
The "chorus" in the title is appropriate – as there's a flurry of wordless vocals in the mix of this one! The record feels a bit like some of Ennio Morricone's more vocal-oriented soundtracks from the early 70s – with breezy voices drifting over slightly funky arrangements, ... CD

Black Cat (Italy), 1971. New Copy
Excellent obscure jazzy groovers from the groundbreaking team of Cicci Santucci and Enzo Scoppa! Cicci plays trumpet and Enzo plays tenor – and the pair had chops sharp enough to play with the best of the Italian jazz scene of the 70s, but which also graced more than a fair share of private ... CD
Schema (Italy), Early 70s. New Copy
A legendary set of sound library grooves – and actually one of the first to kick off the genre! The package brings together rare tracks from the small Italian Octopus label – not nearly as well-known as De Wolfe, KPM, or other sound library giants – but an equally great source of ... CD
Schema (Italy), Early 70s. New Copy
Stunning compilation of Italian grooves from the early 70's – and one that has a slightly different twist than some of the other one's we've been stocking. The folks at Schema have put this one together, and the set's got a feel that's similar to some of the newer releases they've been ... CD
Polydor/Verve (Germany), Late 60s. New Copy
One of the coolest vocal groups of the late 60s – Germany's Gunter Kallmann Choir, presented here in a batch of tracks that includes some of their hippest tracks from the Polydor years! The group's sound is quite similar to that of the Horst Jankowski singers – a large ensemble of ... CD
