All The Notes
CD (Item 606541) Cadence, 2000 — Condition: New Copy
All the notes, and then some – just what you'd expect when you set Cecil Taylor loose on the keys of the piano! The album features three very long, freely improvised tracks from Taylor and a trio that features bassist Dominic Duval and drummer Jackson Krall – both players who are crucial to Taylor's musical vision at this point in his career, with the patience to understand and follow him down all the surprising paths his music can lead! Taylor's still quite inspiring in his command of his instrument – and brings in some of those subtle vocalizations that always seem to underscore his piano beautifully. © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | |||||
