A great batch of early 70s grooves from Thailand – all produced by Theppabutr Satirodchompu – and it's one of the best compilations of Thai music we've ever stocked! By focusing on the work of one legendary producer – over the span of just a few years – the set has nicely cohesive vibe. That said, it's a quite expansive sound! Revolving vocals and melodies make it as hypnotic as can be –- and the instrumentation is fantastic. Raw drums, bells and other hand percussion lie underneath bursts of horns, woozy organs and other textures. It's beautifully put together by the Zudrangma label and compiler Maft Sai – with a thick booklet and top-notch sound.
