I Pugni In Tasca/La Cina E Vicina
CD (Item 487983) CAM/GDM (Italy), 1965/1967 — Condition: New Copy
A spooky early score from Ennio Morricone – recorded in the mid 60s, but with some of the best dark touches of his 70s work! I Pugni In Tasca has a very spare sound – weird wordless vocals on the main title track, then really moody music that almost lies beyond the frontiers of hearing at some points – stepping slowly out of the darkness with muted horns, weird-tuned keyboards, and other instrumental elements that are hard to pick out, and which really keep things at an unsettling level throughout. Titles include "Subdolo", "Stranissimi Giochi", "Chiuso Nel Bagno", "I Pugni In Tasca", and "Non E Un Dramma". The CD also features 2 tracks from La Cina E Vicina – "Ninna Nanna 1968" and "La Cina E Vicina" – both dark orchestral tunes that really fit the feel of the rest of the work on the collection! © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | |||||
