Dance Hall 63

Add Item to Want List
CD (Item 568472) Studio One, 1963 — Condition: New Copy

King Stitt mixes it up over a host of old 60s singles – all in a set that's designed to recreate the feel of a dance hall night back in the day! The tunes are mostly classics from the Studio One catalog, served up by Stitt who also toasts heavily over the top – in vocals that sound a bit more recent than the supposed date of the mix, but which are more than authentic enough to carry the whole thing off! Titles include "Doctor Ring Ding", "Elevator Rock", "Why Do Lovers", "Sauvett", "Hold Me Tight", "Iron Bar", "Paradise Plum", and "Four Corners".  © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc.
