Good Old Bad Old Days

CD (Item 615806) Kritzerland, 1973 — Condition: New Copy

An overlooked later musical from the team of Leslie Bricusse and Anthony Newley – presented here in the original London production from the early 70s – done with very much the best flavor of the pair's hits from the decade before! As always, Newley's the best interpreter of his own lyrics – and gets to shine here in a cast that also includes Paul Bacon, Bill Kerr, Rob Stuart, Fred Evans, and Julia Sutton. Music has those great whimsical touches that Bricusse could bring to his best – and things are pretty playful throughout. Titles include "The People Tree", "The Gold Old Bad Old Days", "The Wisdom Of The World", "The Fool Who Dared To Dream", and "I Do Not Love You".  © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc.
