A treasure trove of obscure tracks from the great Matt Monro – just the sort of material that's made us always want to dig deeper in his catalog over the years! Matt's probably best known for some key soundtrack themes and a few big chart numbers – but he's a hell of a singer, and a great interpreter of a really wide range of material – easily hitting the 60s heights of America vocalists like Jack Jones, Vic Damone, or Tony Bennett – all of whom share the mature, masculine qualities that make Matt's recordings so great. This smashing set is filled with gems we've never seen before on other reissues – not just obscure tracks, but different edits, early versions, and even a few commercials too.
