Soul Heart Transplant/Drugs Ain't Cool
7-inch (Item 72702) Now Again/Stones Throw, Late 60s — Condition: New Copy
Spaced out Indiana funk! "Soul Heart Transplant" is as devilish as it sounds – a stretched out, slinky number that bristles with psychedelic energy – and which features guitars strutting out over organ grooves, snapping drum beats, and some really tripped out production! "Drugs Ain't Cool" sounds like it's going to be a kiddie track – but instead it's a really righteous funk tune, done in a progressive Norman Whitfield-esque style – one that certainly must have been informed by drugs to sound so great! Two great tracks – in a great little picture sleeve, too, with nice notes! © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | |||||
