A great example of the way the Norman Whitfield groove translated nicely from the heady Motown era to the late 70s disco one – as "Showtime" is bold, funky, and a number that builds beautifully as it rolls along! Undisputed Truth match the genius of Whitfield's backings with some vocals that show plenty of spirit and imagination – never letting up for the nearly 9 minutes of the tune. "Misunderstood" is a mellower track, but still a nice one – and very different than what most other groups like this were doing at the time.
