A loose, rollicking mid 70s studio record for Delmark by the great Otis Rush – with some longer numbers and a lively sound that's pretty damn sweet! There's a raw, invigorating sensibility here that recalls some of the best live sets we've seen Otis play over the years – a side of him that doesn't always come through in his studio work of the period! Otis is at his most passionate out front on vocal and guitar, backed by a pair of saxes, organ & piano, bass and drums. Bob Levis is also on guitar for half of the record, with Mighty Joe Young on the others. An overlooked gem for Otis Rush and the Delmark label! Includes "Cut You Loose", "You're Breaking My Heart", "Midnight Special", "Society Woman", "Mean Old Woman", "Cold Day In Hell", "All Your Love I Miss Loving/Jam" and "Motoring Along".  © 1996-2014, Dusty Groove, Inc.

Nasty nasty funk from the great Bo Diddley – one of his rare funky 70s classics for Chess – produced by Johnny Otis with a really tripped-out groove! Have guitar, will travel – and back in the day, Bo Diddley was going pretty darn far with great material like this! The album's a real standout, even in the classic Chess catalog of the early years –no filler, no covers, just all original material by Bo Diddley – done in that ... LP, Vinyl record album

Another Dimension
Chess, 1971. New Copy (reissue)
Funky Bo Diddley – one of Bo's key early 70s sessions for Chess Records – all of which have him stepping out in a much harder groove than years past! The sound here is relatively tight – with Diddley guitar and vocals on top of some larger arrangements from Bob Gallo – ... LP, Vinyl record album
