The first-ever Christmas album from The Impressions -- and amazingly, a really great little set that's almost worth the many decades we've had to wait! Core members Fred Cash and Sam Gooden are still in fine fine formation -- working with singer Reginald Torian to round out the trio -- and the Christmas setting gives the group a classic approach from which to work -- one that doesn't force them to try to sound too contemporary, and which just lets them lay back and harmonize on a set of very familiar songs.
