A batch of lost tracks from Anthony Hamilton – record from '99 through '01 for the now defunct Soulife label – finally seeing the light of day now that Hamilton's a bonafide neo soul superstar! Soulife finds Anthony in a mode that has him channeling Bill Withers in a modern way – with tunes that focus firmly on Hamilton's warm, emotive vocals – with a solid sound all the way through thanks to the Soulife label (and house band's) unifed approach.
