Jubilee Shouts
LP (Item 1826) Blue Note, 1962/1978 — Condition: Used
Blue Note two-fer that was the original issue of the Jubilee Shout album, plus one other album from the early 60's which came out under it's own name in the 80's. Excellent stuff, and some of the best playing Turrentine ever did. He's joined by brother Tommy on both sets, and this is some of the hardest swingin', deepest playing, most soulfully happenin' stuff that Blue Note ever recorded. If you've ever doubted the worth of Stan the Man, check out this double album set and be convinced! (Cover has some wear, a cut corner, some splitting on the top seam, and a small piece of masking tape in one corner.) © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | |||||
