Tennessee Waltz (SHMCD)
CD (Item 565588) Mercury (Japan), 1951 — Condition: New Copy
A pretty groovy CD that takes the original 10" LP of Patti Page's big hit Tennesse Waltz, and adds in 10 more tracks from the time – making a total of 18 cuts that all have that sweetly swaying vocal style that Patti used on her best work. There's some nicely sad material that keeps things from hitting that cloying style that could sometimes ruin Patti's records – and titles include "Let Me Go Lover", "I Went To Your Wedding", "Mister & Mississippi", "Would I Love You", "You Belong To Me", and "Changing Partners".
