Add Item to Want List
LP (Item 35074) United Artists, 1973 — Condition: Used

An excellent album of funky tracks from War – perhaps a bit overlooked next to their classic albums with soul hits, but a really sophisticated batch of tracks that shows the band growing and growing even more over the years! The record's got a killer style that mixes jazz funk with a freer jamming style borrowed from Latin music – and the result is a batch of long tracks that really let the band open up and groove! The set includes the classic jammer "Me & Baby Brother", plus "H2 Overture", "Blisters", "Southern Part Of Texas", "In Your Eyes", and "Gypsy Man". (In the original die-cut cover with the heavy inner sleeve. Cover has light wear.)  © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc.
