A beautiful record that's not only an excellent soundtrack – it's also one of the best-ever Malcolm X records you can find! The record brings together tracks from the 1972 film on Malcolm's life – and it combines fantastic original speeches, like "N_ggers", "American Nightmare", "Africa", and "Who Taught You To Hate Yourself?" – but also includes snippets of music and knowledge from the Last Poets, Billie Holiday, James Earl Jones, Ossie Davis, Betty Shabazz, and others. A beautiful sound collage, and a fitting tribute! (Cover has some wear, a couple of small stains, a small split on the top seam, and a center split one the bottom seam.)  © 1996-2014, Dusty Groove, Inc.

Fantastic! This is the US release of the Michel Legrand score to Jaques Demy's incredible 1965 film The Umbrellas Of Cherbourg. Every word of dialogue in the film is sung, and Legrand came up with an amazing array of themes to carry the emotion of the film. Embedded in here are lines that later ... LP, Vinyl record album

Charles Earland did the funky score for this obscure Kung Fu movie – and it's one of his best albums of the time! The lineup includes a lot of the great players that were helping him on his mid-70's stuff – Eddie Henderson, Dave Hubbard, Patrick Gleeson – and the groove is deeper ... LP, Vinyl record album
