A beautiful record that's not only an excellent soundtrack – it's also one of the best-ever Malcolm X records you can find! The record brings together tracks from the 1972 film on Malcolm's life – and it combines fantastic original speeches, like "N_ggers", "American Nightmare", "Africa", and "Who Taught You To Hate Yourself?" – but also includes snippets of music and knowledge from the Last Poets, Billie Holiday, James Earl Jones, Ossie Davis, Betty Shabazz, and others. A beautiful sound collage, and a fitting tribute! (Cover has a cut corner.)  © 1996-2014, Dusty Groove, Inc.
