Ahmad Zahir Vol 2 – Afghan 70s Psychedelic Folk Pop

Out Of Stock

Add Item to Want List
LP (Item 599605) Guerssen (Spain), 1970s — Condition: New Copy

The second set of 70s recordings by Afghan compiled by Guerssen – the first set was strong and eye-opening – but the songs here are straight up beautiful! There's a world of pop psych influences in play here – fused with Afghan folk tradition. Of course, that's the case with may of the best adventurous pop music from the region of that era, but there's an emotional vibe floating over the strings, male & female voices and the melodies here that's sublime. Wonderful! Includes "Agar Ze Khaliq Malaamat" feat Hangama, "Ahange Zindegi", "Az Dorzdida Az Ahoo", Baduhait Konam", "Begzaro Ta", "Begeeryam", "Behooda Am", "Beya Borim Ba Sangeran", "Dil Ze Sowda", "Awshiq Shude Aye Dil" and more.  © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc.
