CD (Item 603773) Blue Candle/Clinck (Japan), 1977 — Condition: New Copy

It's more than easy enough to wiggle that thing – given the funky grooves on the set from Snoopy Dean! Snoopy's a hip guitarist with a very funky edge – working here in a nicely deep side of the Miami style of the mid 70s – funky grooves headed towards the club, but with a grittier, almost bluesy undercurrent at times! The record's kind of a sidestep from the Little Beaver sound at TK at the time – and Dean's gritty vocals are usually more in line with the rhythms than a force in themselves. Nice boogie moments throughout, with plenty of great Miami guitar flange – and titles include "Hot Thing", "Walking On Air", "Baby Wiggle That Thing", "Blackbird", "We'll Try Again", and "Let Me Taste Your Love". CD also features 10 bonus tracks – including "Shake N Bump (parts 1 & 2)", "Steppin Out", "I Can't Control This Feelin", "Be Good To Me", and a wonderful take on "Let Me Wrap You In My Love" – a tune you might know better from the Paulette Reaves version!  © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc.
