Catalyse (180 gram pressing)
LP (Item 588721) BYG/Wah Wah (Spain), 1970 — Condition: New Copy
Fierce sounds from Ame Son – one of the most important French groups at the start of the 70s, and, as the title implies, an outfit who seemed to catalyze all the best elements going on at the time! The tunes are long, and relatively freewheeling – and instrumentation can get mighty intense – in an early Floyd-like style that has us wanting to set the controls for the heart of the sun! But there's a lot more of an edge, too – and overall, things are much more unbridled – not nearly the focused energy of some of the more polished groups of the time – and almost a garage-prog sort of approach. Titles include "Coeur Fou", "Eclosion", "Seventh Time Key", "Hein Quant A Toi", and "Reborn This Morning On The Way Of". Includes great poster with notes, too! (Limited edition of 500 including original poster.) © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | |||||
