What Took You So Long/You Had Me At Goodbye (with download)
LP (Item 614569) Rune Grammafon (Norway), 2012 — Condition: New Copy
Lots of beautiful colors here – a set that's got a great balance of pulse and timing – almost like some of the richer ECM piano dates of the 70s – but with a slightly more contemporary feel too! Pianist Espen Eriksen's definitely got an ear for a lyrical tune – and lets his music unfold in a very organic way – everything making perfect sense, falling into place wonderfully – progressions of notes spurred on by the bass work of Lars Tormod Jenset and drums of Andreas Bye. Titles include "All Good Things", "Third Stop", "On The Sea", "Fall", "Dusk Of Dawn", and "Oslo". And the set also features the full album You Had Me At Goodbye – with tracks that include "In The Woods", "Masaka Tsara", "On The Jar", "Intermezzo", and "To Whom It May Concern". (Includes MP3 download of both albums.) © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | |||||
