Week-End/Leve Leve

7-inch (Item 580749) Disques Dessinee (Japan), Late 70s — Condition: New Copy

Latin and Caribbean grooves from France – beautiful numbers from Pierre Maizeroi! "Week-End"is really fantastic – Pierre's smoky, charismatic vocals out from with a piano and with the bass nice and loud in the mix. Much like his great Salsa LP, the arrangements have a lighter touch the the gritty salsa and Latin sounds that were coming out of NYC and other regions, and with some really nice jazzy touches. The flip "Leve Leve" is another great one!  © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc.
