Incredible! This album is a masterpiece of subtle rock beauty, and it's still one of our favorite albums of all time. After the onslaught of the band's second album, White Light/White Heat, the Velvets laid back, toned down, and turned out this fantastic album of wonderfully crafted little songs. Every track is a delight, and the album bubbles with a dark genius that is incredibly hard to pinpoint.
