A late 60s collection of groovy tunes fronted by the always gorgeous voice of Dionne Warwick – some from movies she starred in, some from soundtracks she recorded, and others from films that she never had a hand in at all – other than covering the material and completely making it her own! Arrangements are by Burt Bacharach on half the tunes, but the groove is shaken up nicely on some other tunes arranged by Pat Williams, Garry Sherman, Bobby Scott and a couple of others – and titles include "Slaves", "The April Fools", "A House Is Not A Home", "The Look Of Love", "Alfie", and "Valley Of the Dolls".  © 1996-2014, Dusty Groove, Inc.

The album's got a bit of vocals – figuring in on about half the tracks – but the main ... LP, Vinyl record album

ABC, 1977. Very Good
The first album by Shotgun – one of the many major label funk groups who flourished briefly at the end of the 70s.
